The following tracks for this year’s conference will examine a broad landscape of distance education:

1. Engagement and Retention

Description

The presentations in this track focus on engagement and retention, and how they so often go hand-in-hand, especially in distance education.

2. Equity and Inclusion

Description

Equity and inclusion are important in student-centered education, but how can we be sure we’re accomplishing these goals? The presentations in this track focus on practical tools and tips for ensuring your learning spaces are accessible to, and designed for, all students.

3. Student Assessment

Description

Student assessment is a cornerstone of all educational offerings and because of that, we can find ourselves in an assessment rut. The sessions in this track focus on alternatives to traditional assessment.

4. The Science of Learning for Instructional Design & Teaching

Description

The landscape of distance learning has changed quickly and dramatically, especially in the last few years. The sessions offered in this track look to address these changes and emerging trends.
